Distinguishing itself from the base model, which utilizes Kinesis' proprietary SmartSet Engine, the Pro version of Advantage360 embraces the open-source ZMK firmware. Program your keyboard effortlessly using the web-based configurator or simple text syntax. For power users, the code is available on GitHub, allowing them to build and share their unique features.

It's important to note that the Advantage360 Professional, powered by the open-source ZMK engine, is tailored for users with technical proficiency. ZMK doesn't support onboard programming, so those reliant on this feature may find the Pro less suitable. While Kinesis Technical Support can guide you and provide written documentation, personalized ZMK training and custom programming assistance are not offered.

ZMK Configurator: Explore the Advantage360 Professional GUI, an open-source web-based application designed by Nick Coutsos. Customize layers, actions, and configure basic macros (ZMK supports text string macros of up to 32 characters).
